Announcements
Chris - Anarchy1 radio station, Anarchy1.org, is now airing Democracy Now on Monday through Friday at 6pm Eastern time.
Annette - believes that the CMC is hosting monthly and semi-monthly dinners sponsored by Anarchademics, Food Not Bombs, and other community organizations.
Whistler - This Sunday night is the film of the debate between Chris Hedges and B. Traven called Occupy Tactics.

G.A. Scheduling
Whistler suggested we go to winter hours now and start our meetings at 6:30 pm. There was a good bit of discussion about changing/reducing General Assembly days. It was agreed that we are not attending all 3 evening meetings in sufficient numbers. Saturday, being the most attended, was selected as the 1 weekly GA for now, with extra meetings being added when specific projects require them. Nancy pointed out that a theme or topic specific to the GA being mentioned in the Fb reminder would improve attendance. This decision is tentative and could change pending more input from other participants.
Proposal - G.A.s will be every Saturday and will now begin at 6:30
Consensus reached.

Anniversary Party
The Occupy Gainesville One Year Jam was well attended and everyone had a great time.! Many, many thanks to the JAM for hosting our celebration. Eduardo offered to let us leave something of Occupy there as a part of the permanent decor. It was agreed that a nice framed copy of Karrie's poster featuring Bo Diddley Plaza would be nice.
Proposal -$40 be approved for cost of framing a print to hang in the JAM.
Consensus reached.

Future Action Ideas
* Chris suggested a drive for blankets and other winter supplies for the homeless. Whistler pointed out that the plaza population will increase as many folks come to escape the cold further north. Zot mentioned that there is a sock drive each year and suggested we ask the Fine Print if they might have some space to lend us for blankets and other items.
* Annette - We should plan some sort of recreation for O.G. folks this year, like a canoe trip or camping or something.
* Whistler - We could support Laura's Kickball Saturday efforts by having our recreation as a B-B-Q at the West Side Park. Everyone agreed, but want to check it with Laura first.
* Zot - Some type of Street Theater would be nice. Woody had an idea earlier - spoofy, spooky witches gathering around a cauldron, chanting and casting a spell on some deserving entities, such as Wells Fargo or Monsanto.
* OWS has a national call for action on Black Friday, November 23rd in solidarity with struggling workers, especially Walmart employees. The action will be picketing with signs, banners and flyers in front of Walmart. This event will be followed by our "Leftover Thanksgiving Dinner" - location TBA.
* OCCUPY COURTROOM 1A . Supporters to be contacted by phone tree. Everyone wear your OG T-shirt. Zot suggested a Food & Comfort style lunch be served right outside the courthouse. Ed named this the Solidarity Soup and Salad. We also want to get a group photo taken at this time.
Robbie suggested that the phone tree contacts be used more often for other events as well.
Proposal - $50 to buy food for the event.
Consensus reached.

General Discussion
Many participants are supporting the JAM and enjoying hanging out there on Fridays, when Occupier and Bartender Goddess, Christina, is there. It was pointed out and agreed that this is not appropriate as an official OG function, just a casual, optional hangout. Also - some participants are attending the Dinner & a Movie nights (Tuesdays) at the CMC. Let's get together and feel ALRIGHT!
Occupy the InfoBooth. Annette - the booth is still up in Bo Diddley Plaza about 3.5 days per week. Interactions with the public have slowed down and everyone is invited to get creative with InfoBooth uses. John F set up during the Downtown Farmers Market this past week , instead of before it ,and felt our presence was better placed then. One idea is to emphasize food security issues there, using the Monsanto Occu-cards and other materials. He could use some company and even help packing up - so come on down to get your veggies and then hang with John some! Annette is going to design an InfoBooth specifically to inform students of the slavery of student debt - then set it up in the Plaza of the Americas on Tuesdays. The Occucard on student debt is the perfect handout, and a banner will be created.
We have about 4 canopies now and several tables - so everyone feel free to get creative and dream up some booth applications - even it is just one time set -ups.
Proposal - $20 for Annette to order occucards for Student Debt and Mosanto.
Consensus reached.

Zot said we should keep track of the time spent on debt awareness on campus and design some actions for east side neighborhoods also. Everyone agreed. Let's brew some ideas for East Gainesville Debt Awareness.

Everyone was amazed and delighted to see that many of our Chalk-u-py sidewalk messages from the week before could still be read. Especially Ilene's big creation saying "ONE YEAR _ STILL HERE!!
